About Dr. Lewallen
Dr. Lewallen attended Samford University for his undergraduate career, where he graduated in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in history and pre-dental. He then chose to move abroad to Scotland to continue his education, earning his Masters in Public Health (MSc) at the University of Edinburgh in 2005. After his MSc, he returned to the States to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 2009. To provide his patients with the highest level of care, Dr. Lewallen chose to attend medical school at Vanderbilt University and earned his medical degree in 2015.

Dental implants have a long and proven track record. A surge in recent full arch innovation has had an impact on the hygienist’s chair side protocol. So many full arch options are now available to patients and hygienists need to feel confident in the vital role they play when assessing and treating these full arch cases. The involvement of the hygienist is of crucial importance to achieve lifetime success for the full arch patient.
This course for both dental hygienists and dentists is geared towards the detection and prevention of disease and treatment around full arch fixed and removable implant cases. Course registrants will be provided a new understanding of the chair side requirements of how to maintain and educate these patients.

About Jillian Patrycy, RDH, OMT
Jillian Patrycy completed her dental hygiene training at Lorain County Community College and Youngstown State University in 2006. Jillian’s career began 19 years ago working for Prosthodontist, Dr. Anthony Deliberato’s, practice in Westlake, Ohio. As his first dental hygienist, Jillian has set up protocols for a variety of unique dental patients. Her expertise on the topic of implants, hybrid, fixed and removable prostheses was crafted over the last 19 years working along side Dr. Anthony Deliberato. Being a team member for a nationally renowned Prosthodontist has given her a unique insight into the evolving field of dentistry. Jillian believes that successful treatment outcomes ultimately depend on educating the patients and fellow hygienists on the importance of fully assessing their oral health and customizing at home therapy to their needs and restorative plan. She has lectured alongside fellow colleagues on the topic of Pro Arch maintenance for Straumann’s Teeth Today course. Jillian also has a passion for airway health and its link to dentistry. Jillian is the owner of Tethered Dynamics, LLC, Oral Myofunctional Therapy and has trained through the International Association of Orofacial Myology.
