Common Questions About Our Practice
Here are a few common questions patients have when visiting our practice for the first time.
Oral and maxillofacial surgeons are dental specialists who complete several additional years of hospital-based training in surgery, medicine, and anesthesia after dental school. That advanced preparation allows them to care for a wide range of conditions—from dental implants and wisdom teeth to corrective jaw surgery and facial trauma, with the depth of expertise these cases call for.
While it’s not always necessary, we do recommend patients get a referral from their general dentist or another specialist. However, if you have questions or need help with this, please feel free to reach out to us directly. Our team would be happy to schedule a consultation with you to help you understand your options.
We have four offices across Middle Tennessee, in Murfreesboro, Franklin, Thompson’s Station, and Brentwood. Every location offers the same warm welcome and full range of oral surgery services, so you can choose the office that’s most conveniently located for you. You’ll find addresses, directions, and hours for each on our contact pages.
