DDS, MD
Dr. Lewallen is a board-certified oral surgeon and physician who is proud to call Tennessee his home, where he changes lives through exceptional care.
About Dr. Lewallen
Dr. Brad Lewallen grew up in Germantown, TN, right outside of Memphis. A college mission trip to India with dentists sparked his interest in oral surgery, where he saw the potential to provide immediate and substantial relief to patients with dental needs. Further surgical missions and rotations in hospitals locally and abroad helped him refine his interests and education. He is excited to be a part of the Southern Oral and Facial Surgery team because of his interest in the highest level of dental implant, anesthesia, and oral surgery treatments.
Dr. Lewallen enjoys working as part of a team to help find comprehensive solutions to patients’ problems. He’s glad to be able to treat both children and adults while practicing a broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. The most rewarding aspect of oral surgery for Dr. Lewallen is getting to know people, colleagues and patients alike. He’s proud that people trust him with their needs and feels grateful to provide them with relief and long-lasting, value-considered care. He works hard to treat all of his patients like they are part of his family and is always happy to listen to their concerns.

He and his wife teamed up after college and together completed the hard years of dental school, medical school, and residency. They are always looking for new travel, entertainment, and food adventures for their family.
He and his daughters enjoy going to Vanderbilt and their school’s sporting events, cooking at home, hiking local trails, and finding live music in and around Nashville. They are involved in their local Murfreesboro church, and Dr. Lewallen volunteers at the Interfaith Dental Clinic. Dr. Lewallen is excited to raise his family in such a friendly, hospitable, and naturally beautiful part of Tennessee.
